To be eligible for a varsity team you must be a registered full-time (minimum 70% course load or registered in more than three and one-half full course equivalents) Lakehead University student at our Orillia campus who maintains an average to meet program requirements for the program in which they are enrolled.
Students who are a part of our Lakehead-Georgian partnership programs are also eligible to compete but must declare the institution they wish to represent prior to tryouts.
Varsity Athlete Eligibility:As per the OCAA /CCAA rules: in order to participate in any game involving the OCAA or CCAA schools in full season sports, all players must be a full-time student and meet OCAA eligibility requirements.
Tryout Schedule:
All tryouts will take place at the West Orillia Sports Complex Turf Fields, 100 University Ave, Orillia. Tryout dates and times are as follows:
- Sunday, September 10th, 8:00 - 9:30pm
- Thursday, September 14th, 8:00 - 9:30pm
- Sunday, September 17th, 8:00 - 9:30pm
