I have always been involved in competitive sports either as a player, a coach or team helper. Growing up I played hockey and baseball and was lucky enough to get involved with my son’s hockey teams as a volunteer.

My first love is broomball, I first played in 1986 starting off in a women’s league as a player and eventually as a coach. In 2003 I was asked to play with a mixed team and play in the 2004 World Championships with 4 more appearances at the World Championships to follow. From 2003 to 2006 I played with both a women’s team and a mix team but since 2006 to present I have strictly played with very competitive mixed broomball teams and have made an appearance at the Provincial Championships every year with positive outcomes.

I am a strong believer in being a team player on and off the ice, and how hard you work at practice and off ice will determine how much you improve and how competitive you will be. I am honored to be the head coach of the Women’s Lakehead University Hockey team for the 2018-2019 school year.
