Breann Sharma (2023) is a proud alum of Lakehead Orillia.  She holds an honours bachelor of arts and science in interdisciplinary studies, first-class standing and a bachelor of education.

Here are just a few highlights of Breann's accomplishments:

• Breann was the first athlete ever to be recruited to compete for a varsity program at Lakehead Orillia

• Breann was the captain of our women’s varsity program for three straight years, due to her impressive leadership on and off the field.

• Under Breann’s leadership, our women’s team, for the first time, progressed to an All-Ontario Championship, where Lakehead finished as one of the top four teams in the province.

• Breann is the recipient of the Principal’s Award for Leadership in Athletics and Recreation, recognized for being a staple of the Women’s Indoor Soccer Team over her six-year tenure with Lakehead and for her contributions on campus as an orientation leader and volunteer.

• Breann holds many other awards from our program, including:

  • Rookie of the Year in 2017-2018,

  • Athlete of the Month in 2021-2022,

  • And Athlete of the Year in 2021-2022

We are so proud to unveil our Wall of Fame this year, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate our first inductee, Breann Sharma.  For her leadership, athleticism, and impressive dedication to growing athletics at Lakehead Orillia, please join us in congratulating Breann Sharma.
