Chris Jiggins was born in Niagara Falls, ON. When Chris was young, his family moved to Brantford, ON where he grew up and lived until he moved to Orillia for school. Chris graduated from Georgian College's Police Foundations program. While attending his studies, Chris played on the men's hockey team. Prior to competing for Georgian, Chris played hockey for 16 years and coached in the Orillia Minor Hockey League for 5 years.

Chris is in his third year as the assistant coach of Lakehead Women's Hockey and is a member of the school's security team. Chris enjoys being on the ice and hopes to pass along his knowledge to the team.
